2010/11 Competitive Coach Applications

The KGHA is currently accepting Competitive Head Coach applications for the 2010-2011 season for Kanata Rangers teams.The selection process shall consist of an evaluation of the submitted coaching resume and an interview by the Coach Selection Committee.
Only those candidates deemed to be appropriately qualified shall be contacted for an interview. KGHA reserves the right to withdraw open positions should an exceptionally qualified candidate be found. Candidate assessments will be based on experience, qualifications and coaching philosophy.
Interested applicants are to forward a resume or complete a KGHA coach application to the Coach Selection Committee by February 21st, 2010 for “AA” teams and March 15th, 2010 for all others, indicating which team(s) you are interested in coaching. Submissions can be sent by email or in hardcopy (sealed envelope) at the KGHA Executive mailbox at the KRC, attention Coach Selection Committee. If you submit a resume in hard copy form, contact the Coach Selection Committee to ensure it was received.
The current plans for the 2010-2011 Kanata Rangers Competitive Program will include the following (Level of play and/or number of teams may change at the discretion of the KGHA executive) team categories:
1. Midget A or AA
2. Midget B or BB
3. Midget C
4. Bantam AA
5. Bantam BB or B
6. Bantam C
7. Peewee AA
8. Peewee BB
9. Peewee C
10. Atom AA
11. Atom B and/or C
12. Novice B
Coaching selections for “AA” teams will be announced no later than March 31st, all others by May 15th.
Tryouts will be announced at a later date, however Kanata Rangers and Ottawa Senators Bantam AA, Midget AA and Intermediate AA are expected to begin in late April.
