KGHA Announces New Ottawa Lady Senators Head Coach & General Manager
The KGHA and Ottawa Lady Senators U22 Hockey Club are thrilled to announce the hiring of Reagan Fischer as the new Head Coach for the 2025/26 season, bringing a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to the team. This appointment marks an exciting chapter for the Lady Senators as they continue their commitment to excellence both on and off the ice.
Coach Vision
Reagan is dedicated to fostering an environment where players are equipped with the tools and motivation to challenge themselves to grow as hockey players, teammates, and individuals. With a focus on creating a safe, happy, and encouraging atmosphere, the Lady Senators are confident this vision will inspire and elevate the team.
Coach Bio
Reagan brings a remarkable background, including over 10 years of coaching experience and a demonstrated history of success:
Coaching Experience: Most recently served as a U18AA Head Coach for three years.
Entrepreneurship: Part owner of a hockey skill development company.
International Success: Two-time Ball Hockey World Champion with Team Canada (2019, 2022).
Collegiate Career: Former Ivy League student-athlete at Dartmouth College with an impressive record:
100+ career points for the Dartmouth Big Green (NCAA Division I).
Two-time recipient of the ECAC Defensive Forward of the Year Award.
Big Green MVP and Offensive Player of the Year (2012-2013).
Leadership group member for three of four years.
Youth Achievements: U18AAA League MVP, Leading Scorer, and Player’s Player Award recipient in Alberta. Canada Winter Games participant.
Multi-Sport Athlete: Excels in hockey, ball hockey, golf, fastball, volleyball, and curling.

In addition to this, the KGHA and Ottawa Lady Senators U22 Hockey Club are also proud to announce the appointment of Natasha Danschinko as the new General Manager of the Ottawa Lady Senators high performance program. Natasha, a native of the Ottawa Valley who grew up in Almonte, Ontario, brings an impressive combination of academic credentials, athletic achievements, and leadership experience to the role.
Educational Background
Natasha holds three degrees:
Bachelor of Physical and Health Education - Brock University (1994-1998)
Bachelor of Education - University of Ottawa (1999-2000)
Master’s in Human Kinetics - University of Ottawa (2000-2001)
Athletic Career
Natasha is a former goalie for the University of Ottawa Gee Gees women’s ice hockey team, where she ranks second in all-time career minutes played despite only competing for two seasons. She is a two-time team MVP and Academic All-Canadian with the Gee Gees. Natasha also played one season in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL).
In addition to her hockey accomplishments, Natasha excelled as a dual-sport athlete, playing university basketball at Brock University while completing her undergraduate degree. She later returned home to play hockey for the Gee Gees while pursuing her Education and Master’s degrees. Natasha was also a AA/AAA goalie in ringette for 11 years in the Ottawa Valley and competed at two Ontario Winter Games.
Executive and Professional Experience
Off the ice, Natasha brings extensive executive experience:
Served on the West Carleton Minor Hockey Association (WCMHA) Board for eight years, including three years as Director of Hockey Operations.
Most recently served as President of the WCMHA for four seasons.
Professionally, Natasha has worked at the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) for 20 years, managing personnel and liaising with national sport organizations, high-performance athletes, and support personnel.
Coaching and Development
Natasha is a Level 2 Certified Hockey Canada goalie coach and has served as a head coach and development coach. In recent years, she has focused on training goalies at the AAA and AA high-performance levels in both male and female hockey streams.
Leadership Style
Natasha is widely recognized for her exceptional communication skills, collaborative approach, and proven leadership. She is known for her honesty, kindness, and transparency, values that align perfectly with the Lady Sens program.
