House program

Friend request

  • The KGHA will endeavor to honor friend requests where there is only one friend named and the friend request is reciprocal.

Goalie discount

  • To encourage players who are interested in playing goalie for part of the season, the KGHA will rebate 50% of the House Registration fees to any House player at the U9, U11, U13, U15, and U18 levels who play the position for practices, scrimmages and game/tournament play for at least 50% of the season. Ideally, this will set up each House team with two (2) goalies while still providing interested players to play the other 50% as skaters.
  • The KGHA will also rebate 25% of House Registration fees to any House player who registers as a goalie at the U9, U11, U13, U15, and U18 levels provided they also play the position for a minimum of 9 games (league, tournament, and exhibition) as a goalie.
  • If your player is interested, please select "Goalie" at registration.
  • Rebates will be applied at the end of the season, with the approval of the VP, House League, and submitted to the Registrar for processing.

Please note, priority for the House Program will be given to returning KGHA players.

For inquiries relating to the House Program, please contact: the VP of House

Competitive program

Any player who has been selected to a U13, U15, U18, or U22 Rangers team or Ottawa Senators Women's Hockey Club (OSWHC) competitive team following the spring competitive evaluation (tryout) process, must register online for the 24/25 season.

U9/U11 Competitive Evaluations - Fall

  • Players wishing to participate in the competitive program in the fall, must register for the season and a competitive evaluation package.
  • U9 and U11 Competitive Evaluations will follow the Hockey Canada Pathways for conditioning and tryouts.

Players previously registered with other hockey associations who wish to tryout for the U9 and U11 competitive teams must email all required documentation (Permission to Tryout form or indicate that a release has been obtained) to the KGHA Registrars (registrar@kgha.ca) prior to the first evaluation session. No player will be allowed on the ice unless all documentation is in order and fees are paid.

Competitive Evaluations for the U13, U15, and U18 are taking place until the end of May.

For inquiries relating to the Competitive Program, please contact the VP of Competitive.
