KGHA All-Girls First Shift Program - Volunteers Needed!

This spring, KGHA is excited to host an all-girls NHL/NHLPA First Shift program, designed to introduce young players and their families to hockey in a fun and welcoming environment.

How It Works:

 Welcome Event (March 10th): Families receive key information, participate in confidence-building activities, and get properly fitted for their brand-new equipment.

 On-Ice Development (Saturdays am, March 22 - June 14): Players will learn the basics of skating and fundamental hockey skills through play—many participants will be on the ice for the very first time!

Volunteers Needed:

 7-10 Adult Instructors to help maintain a 4:1 player-to-instructor ratio and provide instruction for player development.

 10-12 KGHA Players from U15 & U18 (House & Competitive) to serve as enthusiastic role models, mentors and offer on-ice support.

 Students can earn volunteer hours for their participation in the First Shift program!
